A man should be proud to speak your name, to speak of you and love you. He should be proud to call you his, no matter the circumstance in which you met. And if he can’t do those things…well, honey, he isn’t worth it.

Sometimes, your girlfriends just need to vent.  Don’t give your opinion, don’t be judgmental.  Just listen…that’s the number one job for a friend.

Love is not selfish, love does not falter, love does not wait until we’ve hit rock bottom to make its presence known.  It would have been the gravity that carried us to the depths of despair and it would have been the breath upon our lips that saved us when we could finally swim back to the top.
