lifted-trucks-painted-up thought: "Technically I was born in the north, but moved here when I was 7. Is there some sort of form I need to fill out to make the conversion official? ;D"

I always joke with my sweetheart that if you have lived in the South for ten years, you are a transplant.  But, at the same time, I think being Southern means a lot of different things to different people.  If you feel that the South is in your soul, then you areSouthern.

Boston

Lessons from a Southern Belle would like to send a message to our (Yankee) brothers and sisters up north.  My thoughts are with you, my prayers as well.  Plato once said, “We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.”  Whoever committed this crime is someone of small and sick-mindedness; “afraid of the light” so to say.  My heart goes out to the victims of the families.

C-A-R-D-S!

I withheld so much college ball spam yesterday from the blog, but I just want to give a shout out to the boys playing for my city, the Louisville Cardinals!  I am very proud of them!

Tonight, the Lady Cards battle it out for their own championship title!  I can’t wait to see how it turns out.
